Major BART delays on Pittsburg/Bay Point line into SF

Equipment problems Thursday morning are causing major delays on BART between Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek to slow commutes in both directions, officials said. The delay was first reported at 6:43 a.m. BART has given no estimated time for the equipment issues to be resolved. Sophie Haigney is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
