Trade speculation has been swirling around Madison Bumgarner for weeks now. And while the Giants' ace was expected to bring in quite the haul in a likely sellers market, San Francisco suddenly being thrust into the wildcard race has, well, complicated things.

Bumgarner reports have ranged from the Giants already tried to trade him to they definitely didn't already try to trade him to it's impossible to say if he'll be traded to there's no way the Giants can trade him.

If the Giants do deal the former World Series MVP, Tuesday's 6:45 p.m. game against the Cubs would most likely be his final start in a San Francisco uniform.
